- Giving men a chance to talk about their experiences
- Providing emotional support
- Providing practical advice
- Providing sign-posting to a range of services including housing and legal options
The Men's Advice Line Helpline uses the services of Language Line to help those requiring calls in languages other than English
Men's Advice Line also provides a range of services to professionals from both the statutory and voluntary sector. These include:
- Best practice when working with male victims of domestic violence
- Information and advice about local service provision for male victims of domestic violence
- Best practice
- Provision of resources
- Provision of a range of training
Men's Advice Line also provides information to the family, relatives, friends and colleagues of any man who is experiencing domestic violence. Seeing a loved one being abused causes distress and anguish as relatives and friends often feel helpless to do anything. If you are such a person, your support can be crucial.
Men's Advice Line also provides information to men who:

If you are such a man and you are reading this, pick up the phone and contact the RESPECT helpline on 0845 122 8609.
