Domestic Violence Library
The Respect domestic violence library is available for all Respect members to use to help support evidence based practice with all interventions with people using and experiencing domestic violence.
We have a document library of research papers on a wide range of topics, such as risk assessment, engagement in programmes, cross cultural working, etc. Unfortunately for legal reasons we cannot load them on to the website but you can request papers on a specific topic. We are updating the catalogue currently (August 2010) and will be loading this document to this page of the website in September. Until then, you are welcome to request papers on a specific topic, or to request a specific research paper if you already know the one you want - perhaps because you have read about it in a Respect newsletter article or from another journal or paper. Please use the request form [click here to download] and we will do our best to meet your needs.
On other pages in this section are details of some books and papers you may find useful reading - some of which we have in the Respect library, available on request as described above. These pages will be replaced by a full catalogue of our library by 30th September, sorted by key words and by lead author.
Please do make requests or suggestions for how you would like the research library to work. This is a pilot period for the research library and we want to make it as useful as possible to support evidence based practice. At the moment, we are including mostly research papers but will be adding practice evidence and welcome all contributions and suggestions to info@respect.uk.net
