Who is eligible for membership?

Respect membership is open to:

  • perpetrator programmes
  • integrated support services
  • training/consultancy organisations
  • those working with victims of domestic violence
  • those working with young people who use violence and abuse in close relationships
  • those doing individual work with domestic violence perpetrators
  • those carrying out domestic violence risk assessments
  • those engaging with men on ending violence against women

Respect members that run perpetrator programmes or integrated support services must

  • work in accordance with Respect’s Standard
  • apply for accreditation (demonstration of compliance with the Respect Standard)

Benefits of Respect Membership

1. The right to participate in the decision making which shapes Respect's policy and development as a National organisation. Full members have the right to vote at Respect's agm and to stand as a member of Respect's Executive Committee.

2. Receive the Respect Newsletter, a quarterly magazine with in depth coverage of issues affecting the sector.
